ACTION TEST ROLL  -  £19.90

Essential for keeping the bleed screws adjusted correctly.  This roll contains 2 repetition speed tests,  alignment and speed checks,  sustain,  response  and pipe balance checks,  a wind supply test,  an octave tuning section, and also a short piece of demonstration music.  Complete with instructions, spool and box.

DEMONSTRATION CDs 

Now you can hear my music before you buy.  I have produced a complete CD collection of all of my 20-note music.  These recordings are primarily intended to help you to choose which music to buy, and to enable you to identify tunes when you may not know the title.  However, these digital recordings are in crystal clear stereo sound, and can also be used purely for listening pleasure.  CDs can be purchased individually, or as a complete set.  Each CD contains over an hour of music (except for the last one in the set) and the price has been kept low, at only £4.95.  There are eight CDs in the 20-note set.  If you buy a complete set of CDs, you will receive one of the CDs free of charge.  (CLICK HERE FOR COMPLETE INFORMATION)

ORGAN MAINTENANCE and TUNING GUIDES  -  £1 each (also available from my Web Site)

Comprehensive sets of instructions for tuning and adjusting the Raffin type of organ.  These instructions were written by Hal O'Rourke, the American agent for Josef Raffin, and cover every aspect of organ maintenance.  Although written for Raffin organs, the instructions are relevant to almost all roll playing organs where the roll is not contained in a pressure box.  Two sets of instructions are available, as follows:

ELECTRONIC TUNING METER  -  £19.90

Keep your organ in perfect tune with this top quality digital tuning meter.  No musical knowledge required.

This pocket-sized unit runs from two AAA batteries, and has an LCD display incorporating a tuning scale and pitch display.  As each note is played, a built-in microphone picks up the sound of the pipe, and the display shows the pitch of the note being played (C, D, F#, etc.) and whether it is sharp, flat, or exactly in tune.  The tuning scale allows adjustments to be easily made.  The meter covers a range of 7 octaves, so is suitable for large and small organs. Calibration can be set from A=410 to A=480. This meter also plays a reference note for each pipe.  Supplied with instructions, and comprehensive notes on how to use the device for tuning small street and fair organs.  Batteries included.

(Note that this device is for tuning pipe organs. It is not possible for the amateur to tune reed organs.)

Unfortunately my supplier has doubled the price of the Gold Boxes and I can no longer afford to give these away free.  I have therefore changed over to a one-piece box which is actually more practical than the gold box because it doesn't need 3 hands to use it, and you can't lose the lid!  I still have a supply of the Deluxe gold boxes available for sale, but there will be no more made when these have gone.

ROLL SPLICING TAPE  (19mm x 33M)  -  £1.50

For joining and repairing music rolls.  On no account should ordinary Sellotape be used for this purpose,  after a few years it will peel away and leave a horrible sticky mess.

ROLL END TAGS  -  £2 for bag of 10.  £9.50 for bag of 50

Wire tags with reinforced cloth fixing tabs.  Mend those tatty rolls.  Just lick & stick to the start of the roll.

SPECIALLY ARRANGED MUSIC: Due to the large demand for my arrangements, all requests for new tunes are now treated as  suggestions only, to be completed at my discretion as time permits.  Suggestions stand a better chance of being undertaken if a recording or sheet music is made  available, or if more than one customer can be found for the same piece.

All music complies with the MCPS licensing agreement for mechanical music.
