Copy of old original instructions and parts diagram, 2 pages. Quality is only fair but certainly readable. Explains adjustments for playfield difficulty and proper operation. $2.

Copy of U.S. patent. Ten pages of text plus four engineering drawings showing every assembly in great detail. $4.

Copy or engineering drawings only from patent. $2.

Copy of instruction tag from left side of playfield under glass. Suggestions for application using your glue included. Specify one cent or five cent play. $3.

(Both tags ordered together - $5.)

Copy of tag from upper left of playfield under glass saying "FEDERAL EXCISE TAX OF 10% HAS BEEN PAID ON THIS AMUSEMENT MACHINE". $3.

Heavy Celluloid tabs that are positioned over the three bases. Many machines are missing these tabs and people don't even know they are gone. Three required to prevent possibility of balls staying on playfield (usually in second base) at beginning of game. Also help keep balls from jumping out of bases when turntable stops abruptly. You can easily make your own from shirt collar stays available at fabric stores. Ask for pattern with order. If you don't want to mess with it, I'll supply them for $2 each.

Main spring
. New spring with the same length and tension as original. I now replace all these springs even if I have what looks like a good original. This small thing may make a big difference. (if not return it for a no hassle refund!!)- $3.

Tilt flag return spring. This spring is wound  from delicate wire and hard to substitute. If it's too strong the tilt won't trip properly.  - $3.

strip1

Reel strip for "outs" indicator $3. Cannot be applied without removing assembly from game. A bit tricky to apply (See Instructions). If you send me your part I will do the job for you for $5 total including the strip and return it with your order.

Springs for puzzle picture release levers. If your machine is clean but your puzzle does not operate properly, this is probably the problem. These springs are VERY delicate and hard to substitute. After years of searching I finally had replacements custom made for me out of stainless steel wire. Sold only as a set of 20 - $20.

I bought a machine that had a puzzle but the image that was completely gone. To restore it I scanned the individual pieces from a good machine and spent hours with Photo Shop cleaning it up. Then, after many failures, I figured out a way to print and glue the new images to the individual pieces.

If you have a puzzle with a very poor image call me and we can talk. It's not as simple as selling you a printed image and giving instructions. It's very complicated.

Parts Common to World's Series and Jigsaw:

NEW: Shooter Tips:  Replacement shooter tips hand turned on a lathe from material similar to original. They easily slip right on to you shooter rod. $6 each. Shooter springs listed below.

Cabinet Decal
: The finishing touch for your machine. I've been selling paper and parts for Rock-ola World's Series and Jigsaw for over 20 years. MANY people have asked for this decal that appeared above the coin door. This is a water transfer decal and looks great. I believe it was also used on other very early Rock-ola games. Instructions included. $5 each.

gates1     gate2    gate4    gate3

Ball gate wire forms: Jigsaw requires two of the smaller gates. World's Series requires one small and three large gates. These gates are formed from wire .005" thicker than the original and well not deform as easily as the original wires. $1.50 each.

New polished steel balls (15 required for World's Series, 10 for Jigsaw) of correct size, 60 cents each.

Larger steel ball for tilt mechanism, $1.50.

Good quality color copy of marquee (paper only). For Jigsaw specify 1 or 5 cent play. 1 cent play not available for World's Series, but I can supply a 1¢ sticker to cover the 5¢ which looks good). $10. Specify game and coin.

Accurate replica of wooden marquee frame copied exactly from original. Assembled, sanded, and ready to paint or finish to match your machine. $50 which INCLUDES marquee card and clear plastic cover. Painted gray (or black) to approximate original color of machine cabinet $5 additional (because color remaining on surviving machines varies greatly, I will not guarantee color match).

Accurate copy of wooden front door $20 unpainted without lock. Painted (see above) -  $5 additional, lock installed -  $5 additional.
NEW STOCK AVAILABLE NOW

Accurate copy of wooden front lock down rail (shooter trim plate not included, order below) $20 unpainted. Painted (see above) $5 additional. NEW STOCK AVAILABLE NOW

Most shooter guards were plated stamped sheet metal. I've found several early Jigsaw machine that had cast aluminum guards. Each part has a RMC part number cast on the back so I can be sure it was original. I had copies made from the original. The rough casting as received from the foundry (with holes drilled  in the proper locations) require extensive sanding and polishing $27 including dome head screws. once again in stock. as of June 10, 2008.

Photo shows casting that has been sanded and polished for your info. They come out nice, but it has to be a labor of love. I do not supply them polished.

Sold only in sets (top and bottom).

Shooter springs (inside). Custom made exact copies of original. Fit all three Rock-ola games as well as other early pins with 1/4 inch shooter rods. With retaining washers and cotter pin. $4 each.

Shooter springs (outside). (NEW ITEM) Custom made using stainless steel wire so it will not rust. Exact copies of original. Fit all three Rock-ola games as well as other early pins with 1/4 inch shooter rods. $6 each.

Bolts for front lock down rail. I cannot find carriage bolts to match the originals. As a substitute I grind the slots off the heads of machine screws and polish them. You can do the same or buy mine for $1 each including washer and nut.

I recently found a good number of early ABT coin slides. These are NOT the original type used by Rock-ola, but they are old, look good on the game, and nobody but you and an advanced collector will know the difference. Installation requires some easy modification to the screw holes in the cabinet. Instructions and machine screws for mounting are included. Currently sold out. I may manage to put a few more together from parts. Please write and ask about availability.

Original Rock-ola cash box. I find these remaining in fewer than one in ten games. I don't have any available now, but include this photo so you know what to look for. If I get another to sell it will be posted here.

Reproduction Rock-ola cash box. Professionally made accurate copy of original World's Series cash box. Also fits Jigsaw and some other Rock-ola games. On later games with slides that eject coins at the side the opening must be cut back about an inch. I've seen this done to originals. $39 each plus postage. If ordered alone it can be mailed priority at the one pound rate of $4.80, which may increase soon with the first class rate. Watch for updates.

This page is being updated. This is as far as I've come. Watch for more parts and photos in the near future

Leg bolts with acorn heads. Replica made from threaded rod and acorn nuts. I cannot find a source of acorn head bolts, but when installed these look just like originals. Includes washers. (Original style leg bolt trim plates, see above). $1 each.

Hanger bolts and acorn nuts. If your machine has two holes in each leg and hanger bolts (with wood threads on one end and machine threads on the other), these acorn nuts secure the legs to the machine after the wood lag end is turned into the machine. With washers $.50 each. Hanger bolts, 8 required, $1 each.

Other less critical parts for both machines available on request only if I have extras.

All items are plus postage with no charge for packing. Please send postage as follows: $2 if order is for paper only, $5 for small packages weighing not more than one pound, and larger packages at cost.

I'M ALWAYS INTERESTED IN BUYING WORLD'S SERIES and JIGSAW PARTS MACHINES. I pay fair prices for parts machines if they include parts I need.

ANY ITEM CAN BE RETURNED IF NOT SATISFIED FOR ANY REASON. No explanation is necessary. Just return items in the same condition for prompt refund less shipping charges.

I've restored dozens of these machines over the years. Advice is free if you call me at a convenient time.
